At the 2017 USASA Nationals, we had a whole crew of ambassadors representing us in levels ranging from younger girls to adult women, and in all of the snowboard disciplines. Check out some photos, videos and results from the event. Congrats to everyone who came out and worked hard at nationals!
The girls also go together with Woo Sports to test out their new snowboard game with some other female competitors!
Ambassador Riley Rivera brought home a 2nd place in halfpipe, 3rd place in slopestyle, 4th place in rail jam in Breaker Girls plus a podium for her run in the Woo Snowboarding points game. Congrats Riley!
Ambassador Ella Sorensen came home with Gold in the Rail Jam for the Girls 10-13 Division! Congrats Ella!
Ambassador Diane Polcsik took home THREE first place medals in the Snowboard Legend Category - Impressive!
Ambassador Ashlyn Overland took home a third place medal for Giant Slalom.
Georgette Arklin won Third in BoarderCross in the Senior (20-29) Women's Division, and also coached some of the younger riders. Stoked to see her coming back strong from a shoulder injury.
Emma Orsten competed at Nationals for the first time ever, and took home a 5th place in Slopestyle for Junior Women!
Egan Whit landed in fourth place in slopestyle with a stylish method in the Youth Women's category!
Ambassador Marci Sherman came in 7th in the Girls 14 and up rail jam!
Ambassador Riley Lovejoy came in 10th in slope, 13th in half pipe and 17th in boardercross!
Ambassador Diana Sciandra was also at Nationals working as a coach! Diana had this to say about this year's Nationals:
"Kids are absolutely throwing down these days, with Olympics in their sights at the age of 10, USASA is the real deal for these kiddos and it's not play time!"
