Motocross Mayhem!

by Erika Vikander on May 14, 2017

We have an array of talented Motocross athletes that have been absolutely crushing it lately. These girls are a tight knit crew of complete renegades in the best sense. Always pushing the boundaries for the ladies in a male dominated sport. Quite a few of our ambassadors have been featured and highlighted in some of the biggest outlets in MX and we wanted to take a minute to honor these ladies and their accomplishments. Three of our ambassadors had the chance to be interviewed by one of the biggest publications in Motocross, Direct Motocross. In addition to the quick highlights, you can find links to their full interviews below, as well as another highlighted athlete on FXR racing.

First off, Mckenna Kameka has been making big waves in the sport and was recently interviewed by Direct Motocross about her achievements last season and how she plans to move forward into this season. Not only did she set goals, but she succeeded in meeting all of them including; remaining injury free, placing in the top 3, and lining up for the Canadian National Arenacross event. Check, check, and CHECK!

In addition to being accepted to 4 top 10 Law Schools in the UK for September, Chelsey Henning is coming off an unbelievable season where she took home 2nd place in Ladies A overall. With big plans to make it to Women's Nationals again this year she opens up a bit about why she is her main competition, and how she battles the internal struggle we have all faced at some point in our lives. She is helping grow the sport for women and has become a really strong rider that is going places... FAST!  Read more about Chelsey!

Thanks for continuing to inspire us and so many others daily. You ladies are the reason we created SheShredsCo, to create, inspire, and push each other as women!
