We're starting the year off with an ambassador who has inspired us both with her snowmobile skills and her incredible generosity to a friend in need. We've often been wowed by the beautiful snowmobile photos AJ shares from the backcountry of British Columbia, but she did something that really caught our notice a few months back.

A few months ago, after a friend had been in a horrible accident, AJ reached out to our Founder, Gina Duffy, for some help:
AJ is always there for the girls with her positive energy. But she seriously blew us away recently by helping a friend who had been in a tragic car accident and lost her boyfriend. Her friend was going to give up on action sports because her beloved boyfriend had introduced her to these sports and this amazing lifestyle. She felt it would be too painful to do these things without him. AJ reached out to me to let me know what was going on and that she was going to visit her friend and if SheShreds would send something to cheer her up. I was touched by her concern and her thoughtfulness so we immediately packed up a small box and sent it to AJ. About a month later we saw the most beautiful heart wrenching post from her friend who was in the accident. AJ completely turned her friend's thinking around and to honor her boyfriend’s memory she is going to embrace these sports, this lifestyle and our community. She helped to change her friend’s tragedy into a new passion and we can’t wait to see what these two besties accomplish together!
