Viva spring break! Well, looks the the sun is shining and the snow is melting, what better time than now for a spring break get away. I've put together a little collection of my 2016 spring break essentials highlighting my favorite things for hitting the sun and sand.
Don't leave home without these! We've got three amazing lightweight tee's that pack well and look great with both shorts, skirts or jeans. You can never have enough tee's!
Board shorts...a must have! These floral bad boys are the perfect fit for surfing, hiking, swimming or just hanging at the lake. The elastic waist is snug but forgivable and the length is just right. There's also a tie string on the side for added adjustability. You can't go wrong with a floral print in a graphic black and white!
If your looking for something to up the class-factor, maybe for a nice sushi dinner or just a stroll on the beach then these khaki shorts are perfection. They have a modern, city cut that will flatter any figure and you can pair them with any color top. The two front pockets are key, so you still can have a place to stash your cell phone, keys & lip balm.
If your looking to do some surfing or flow boarding then you might want to invest in this low key rash guard tank top. It's made out of quick drying material and really helps with preventing scrapes, scratches and ummm...exposure.
Don't be the girl who brings the hotel towel down to the beach! Make sure your in style with the ultra sleek black RVCA towel.
DUH! Sunblock! Most of us haven't seen the sun on our skin in months so it's important that you use sunscreen to prevent being a lobster the entire vacation! This sunscreen, Sun Bum is top of the line and smells super fresh!
We all need a new bikini before we hit the sand! There's plenty to choose from this season but I really fell in love with this one! It's got a cross over top in the front that definitely makes it unique, the bottoms are still super classic and fit just about any figure, leaving you peace of mind to romp in the waves without losing your bottoms.
Super cute beach hats are key to hiding crazy messy beach hair! This one is tropical inspired and shows off your personal style.
Sunglasses, need I say more. We all need them even if we won't be going on spring break, I love Smiths new style, it's sleek and fits just about any face style and the gold accent is where it's at! SheShreds floating bamboo sunglasses are a perfect choice for days in the water. First of all yes, they FLOAT, secondly, I love the modern twist on these classics.
I've been wearing Volcom flips for years and I would have to say that they hold up extremely well, they are also great for walking and didn't give me blisters or sore feet.
