What does SheShredsCo mean to you?

It's great to have the support of a team of girls behind you. Even though we are spread across the world, there's always someone to get excited about your achievements with you, or share advice if things go wrong. I've been lucky enough to make new friends through sheshreds.co and go on some pretty amazing snowboarding and mountain biking adventures with them.

What challenges do you face being a female in the sport?

In roller skating, people generally underestimate what you can do. I'm not sure if this is because of being female, or just that roller skates in a skatepark is a pretty unusual site and people just don't expect you to be dropping in! 

With 4X, I've found it a greatly welcoming atmosphere and the UK racers are a really friendly bunch. The most challenging part of being a female rider is that the women's category is arguably the closest fought racing, with some very skilled riders.

Where is the most unusual place you have done your sport?

Skating the mini-ramp in Morzine when it was just starting to snow was a pretty weird experience. I'd gone out to snowboard, but always have my skates with me just in case.

What has been your most memorable moment so far?

I've been lucky enough to be able to go round the world because of roller skating, but skating with the Moxi team back at home in the U.K. was a dream come true.

Crashing my downhill bike and getting stuck in North Yorkshire with a broken arm and no one to drive my van was memorable, for all the wrong reasons! 

Who/what are your inspirations

Amy West, Bamboo Bloodlust and Barbie Luciana are my favorite skaters to watch - they are so imaginative and fearless. Tahnée Seagrave has always been an inspiration on her bike - it's so inspiring to see her hard work paying off and that she's finally getting top spots on the World stage.

Favorite thing about SheShreds products?

Functional and feminine, without being overly girly.
