Tips & Responsibilities for SheShreds Ambassador Parents

We’re thrilled to include children as young as 3 in our ambassador program, as they bring a unique perspective and joy (okay and cuteness) to their sports. However, SheShreds ambassadors who are under the age of 18 must have parent or guardian consent to participate in the program. Teens, be sure you're communicating with your parent or guardian as you apply!

REQUIREMENTS:

The SheShreds community is very active on social media, so in order to get the most out of our programs and community, parent involvement is REQUIRED as follows:

For children under 13, parents will be required to participate in lieu of their child on social media, or to assist them with and monitor their social media communications. Please comply with Instagram and Facebook terms of use with regards to the age of children opening accounts. Many youth athletes have experienced account deletions due to age policy violations on Instagram. If your child does have an account, we suggest that the account description note that it's run by a parent.
Children ages 13-18, may participate in social media at their parent's discretion, or parents may continue to manage their child's social media. Parents are responsible for the actions of their minor children and need to be available for communications and aware of their child’s general activities within the SheShreds Ambassador Program.

GUIDELINES:

Don’t be a “soccer mom.”

We value our youth ambassadors, but there are hundreds of ambassadors in our program. The best way to make sure your child is featured on social media or our website is to follow our Ambassador Expectations, use appropriate hashtags on social media, and stay active in our Facebook community.

Encourage other moms & kids to join.

Building a great community and friendships among our youth ambassadors is dependent on having a core group of girls, so if you meet other parents of young shredders, be sure to let them know about the program!

Share, Share, Share!

Great photos of youth ambassadors are very popular with our community, so keep them coming! Make sure to use the hashtag #sheshredscocrew to help us find your content on Instagram, which is the source for most of the content we share. You can also tag SheShreds in instagram stories (make sure your Instagram settings are set to allow for tagged users to share your Story content).

Let us know what your daughter wants.

We're happy to seek out sources for youth products that your daughter is looking for! Keep us updated if there's something she wishes she had. We have many youth products in our Ambassador Collection as well as our Youth Collection.

Connect with Other Parents

We have a separate community just for Shred Moms and Shred Dads on Facebook, where you can ask other parents questions, arrange for playdates, and make friends for yourself! You should be automatically added to the parents community when your child joins, but if you haven't been, Check it out here.
