In just a few short days the ladies of Shred Betties, our amazing Not For Profit partners, will be packing up and heading out to Powder Mountain, (SheShreds home mountain) located high above the beautiful Ogden Valley to do some backcountry learning and exploring. Special guest pro riders Erika Vikander and Randa Shahin will be attending and so should you!
The clinic will be Friday night and Saturday, Feb 5th and 6th. Friday night will be a classroom session on backcountry Avalanche safety taught by Liz Hebertson, who is an avalanche expert and a part of Weber county K-9 search and rescue. After class, socialize with likeminded ladies with an uber yummy, healthy dinner and a relaxing yoga session will ensue afterwards.
Want to join in on the fun but don't feel ready for backcountry yet? They'll also have clinics available for BEGINNER & INTERMEDIATE riders as well. Join the ladies for yoga and juice, and then head off to one of the clinics appropriate for your level of riding.
On Saturday Diana Sciandra, Developer at Shred Betties and owner of A Healthy Ride, will be providing a much needed boost to your morning with a cold fresh pressed juice. After your juice session you will spend the day on fresh pow in the backcountry with the pros and for a small additional fee you can jump in a snow cat if you're feeling even more adventurous.
A delicious and always healthy lunch will be provided and following one of the most amazing riding days of your life there will be an après party where you can recap the day's escapades and truly bond with the other girls. Because SheShreds and Shred Betties knows that nothing forms better friendships than a day of adventure and shredding together!
If you've always dreamed of slashing pow with the raddest group of women then you won't want to miss this exhilarating and bonding opportunity to do so. Not to mention each girl who signs up will get SheShreds gear and other cool women's specific snowboard swag! Tickets can be purchased at eventbrite.com and space is limited, so see you there!
