What’s an average day for you like? If I'm not going snowboarding I'm usually just working and wishing I was riding. If it's a ride day I'll wake up, put a snowboarding video on, get all my gear ready, wait to get picked up and then have a rad day playing snowboards with my friends.
What is the most difficult part of your activity/sports for a beginner? The easiest? I think the hardest part about snowboarding as a beginner is trying not be frustrated with sitting on your butt more than snowboarding and having the muscles in your legs burn up. Once you learn how to link your turns it starts to become a little bit easier and less frustrating its also always easy having a fun time.
What is the best and worst thing about being female in your sport? This really isn't the worst thing about being a female in snowboarding but it definitely is the most frustrating, its when a guy who is riding with me for the first time asks me if i can keep up. I'm sure any girl can relate to this and knows how annoying it is. The best part is riding with other girls and when you have a group of girls together riding the vibes are unreal, everyone is just getting stoked seeing other ladies kill it, everyone is supportive and its just always fun riding with other girls.
What would you like to see change in your sport to make it better for you and other female athletes? I would love to see more gear options, a bigger variety for shorter boards and smaller bindings and more female comps/camps.
Besides your ability and style factor as an athlete, how would you describe your personal style? My riding style is relaxed, I like to carve big turns and sometimes just straight line it.
What are your favorite brands/designers for your sports apparel and for stepping out? She Shreds, I pretty much live in my jacket, Nikita, Oakley, Roxy, Burton and i put all my stuff in a Herschel bag.
Let’s hear your thoughts on how important looking good is to feeling good. “Being” your personal best? I love this, I think if you know you look good then you have that extra boost of confidence.
How dangerous do you really think it is compared to what people do in their regular activities? Snowboarding can be dangerous even if you stay out of the park. I have been hit on a groomer from behind by a skier and blacked out, I've also seen my best friend get hit by a skier on a groomer. Yes the park can be sketchy, but it's dangerous no matter where you are on the mountain.
I bet in your experience you have seen some crazy crashes. Describe one. So many bad slams! The worst I've seen is when my homie Ryan got tangled up in a rail, he was fine but it just looked so bad and I thought he broke his jaw. It looked bad.
What usually gets people hooked on your activity/sport? How creative you can be, every one has their own style, also the amount of fun you can have and the awesome friends you make.
What is your favorite trick? Does slamming count as a trick? Ha! I do love to do tail presses.
Do you own any other toys? I have a dirt bike and longboard.
What gets you pumped up for the day? Blue bird days with good snow and no one on the mountain.
What are three things you could not live without? My snowboard(s), my support system (family and friends who push me), and music.
What are your expectations for this activity/sport? To push my self to try new tricks and actually try them, not just say im gonna practice new tricks.
Who have been your biggest supporters in getting you to where you are now? My dad has always been and still is my biggest supporter he supports my internship with Shred Betties, my involvement with She Shreds and hopefully have a career in the industry. Also friends who I ride with. They push me to become a better snowboarder, thank you Jess, Ryan and Becca!

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done in your sport? I don't do many cool things, yet.
What other extreme/action sports are you into? I grew up riding dirt bikes so that's still one of my favorite things to do besides snowboarding.
If extreme/action sports didn’t exist, what would you be doing with all the free time you’d have? I would probably still be playing rugby.
What’s your favorite board/bike/sled to ride and why? I love my k2 VaVaVoom it has flex and pop like a park board but I can also go fast on it without getting a lot of chatter.
