What does SheShredsCo mean to you?
Badass female camaraderie (emphasis on the 'RAD' in that!) connecting and inspiring women all over the world. It's a supportive family of likeminded females that inspire me on a daily basis to be a better person, role model, and female athlete in a world of male-dominated action sports.
What drives you to do your sport?
Freedom. I am in love with the freedom of expression of style and individuality in snowboarding. I love the adrenaline. The dedication and hard work put into working on specific tricks, failing and trying again and again, builds character and leaves me wanting to push myself farther each time. Facing my fears every single time I set out on the mountain helps me grow on every level as a rider. Mostly, I love the challenge, I love new experiences and I love traveling - luckily snowboarding and mountain biking encompass all of those elements. I also love being a strong, positive female presence on the mountain and I think inspiration for younger lady shredders is so important for the growth of our sport and for the mountain lifestyle altogether. So many things drive me to be a snowboarder/mountain biker - it's hard to single it out. It's all these things and more!
