deechanfitness What does SheShreds.co mean to you?She shreds is not just a group of girls with a passion for extreme sports, but a community or sisters. We reach out when we’re having a bad day. We reach out when we’re having a great day... we reach out when we just want to give a shout out to remind each other how we are queens and to keep on doing what we’re doing that makes us who we are.
How did you get hooked on your favorite action sport(s)? I’ve always loved motorcycles/dirt bikes, but when I stepped onto that track for my very first race, I knew this would be my sport and I would never look back. I forgot about all my worries and at that moment it was just me and my motorcycle.
What challenges do you face being a female in the sport?WELLLLL.... the biggest challenge would be find gear to fit our frame lol... Finding something that doesn’t look like it should belongs on the run way. We may be women, but we don’t want to look like New York fashion week model.
Where is the most unusual or exciting place you have done your sport?I was fortunate enough to be one of the women in the Bachelor Canada S:3 and they filmed me on the track! I loved every second of it and having the track to myself was AMAZING.
What has been your most memorable moment so far?Christmas morning 2017. My daughter got her first dirtbike and the excitement on her face is absolutely unforgettable. I just loved seeing how happy she was that morning and although the time I spend with her will only get better, it will be hard to top the Christmas she got a motorcycle :)
Who/what are your inspirationsMy daughter is my inspiration. Her soul is so pure and innocent. She doesn’t forget about the little things that make her happy and always has a smile on her face. That little girl as taught me how to truly love someone unconditionally, and how to stop and smell the roses.
Favorite thing about SheShreds products?My favourite thing about SheShreds products would be the quality. The hoodies are made for wear and keep you soooo warm when boarding or a cold day on the dirtbike! They’re trendy but not too wild, and best of all we all get a say on products and design!
