Your Age: 17
Your Location: Guatemala, Atitlan Lake
Weapon(s) of choice: Wakeboard, Gopro, a gnarly vest that Tarah Mikacich used to wear (It was a present from both Cobe and Tarah Mikacich. That's why I love that vest).
What’s an average day for you like? Since I live like three hours away from my home lake, I can’t wakeboard everyday so I usually have breakfast first, then go to school , come home and go skating, jump on the trampoline for a while, and sleep.
What is the most difficult part of your activity/sports for a beginner? The most difficult part for me starting out in wakeboard was that no one in my family, except my brother, knew how to wakeboard so I basically had to teach myself how to stand up and do some basic tricks. The sport is still new here in Guatemala so I don’t have coaches or wake schools that can help me. The easiest? Falling in love with it!
What is the best and worst thing about being female in your sport? The best, we get to prove boys we can do things way much better and with more style than them. The worst is that sometimes we don’t get much support on the sport.
What would you like to see change in your sport to make it better for you and other female athletes? The fact that boys get more attention; Show that female wakeboarders are awesome!
Besides your ability and style factor as an athlete, how would you describe your personal style? My style is more of a “surfer girl”: snapbacks, jeans, sweaters, vans.
What are your favorite brands/designers for your sports apparel and for stepping out? I like Liquidforce, Ronix, Sheshreds, Ten-80, Neff, LKI, #SAYiWONT clothing, O’brien, SPY sunglasses, Vans and Hyperlite.
Let’s hear your thoughts on how important looking good is to feeling good. “Being” your personal best? Looking good is different to feeling good. Feeling good is when you are happy with yourself , a sense of satisfaction. When you feel good your body automatically looks good! Being your personal best is just being yourself no matter what!
I bet in your experience you have seen some crazy crashes. Describe one. I was teaching a little girl how to do a surface 180 and she face planted really really bad, she literally tore her eyelids!
What is your favorite trick? The Mexican back roll.
Do you own any other toys? I have a penny board.
What gets you pumped up for the day? Glassy water and good music
What are three things you could not live without? My family, friends and wakeboarding.Who have been your biggest supporters in getting you to where you are now? My family and friends.
Who is your favorite rider/shooter? Tarah mikacich, Harley Clifford, Massi Piffa, Megan Ethell, Bob Soven, Melissa Marquardt, Amber Wing, Nicola Butler, Mike dowdy, JD Webb, Steel Lafferty.

What’s your favorite “way” to ride( wake sport- specific, cable, boat, winch)(Snowsport specific- park, freeride/backcountry, urban)? Boat
Where would be your biggest dream place to ride and why? Lake Hillier, because of it’s colour.
What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done in your sport? Give out clinics

How would you describe your riding style? Technical and stylish.
