What does SheShredsCo mean to you?
This has been a fantastic opportunity to become a part of an awesome community of ladies that share a lot of the same interests. Not only is it a way to connect with and support other female adventurers, but you get the support, love, and feeling of community right back! It has definitely inspired me to try new things, meet new people, and get out there and have a good time. Why wouldn't you want to surround yourself with that kind of energy?! :D
What challenges do you face being a female in the sport?
Something that kind of separates me from a lot of our other ambassadors is that I am not a competitive athlete - I have definitely taken theses sports on as new adventures and challenges but also as hobbies. I think, whether you're an athlete or not, it can be challenging to get taken seriously when you want to do new, "tough" things. However, it's definitely not as bad as it probably used to be. If anything, I think we're really starting to get that respect we deserve.
Where is the most unusual place you have done your sport?
Haha hmm... I haven't done anything that's too out there yet. I will get back to you.
What has been your most memorable moment so far?
Ah this is tough! For me, any moment out on the water or the trail is a good memory.
Who/what are your inspirations?
I have a fantastic group of friends, as well as my family, that inspire me to do more and I think live somewhat vicariously through all of the adventures I get myself into... :)
Favorite thing about SheShreds products?
The crew is a part of the process! I love being able to contribute my own ideas and opinions as well as support others in their ideas, too.
