What does SheShredsCo mean to you?
SheShedsCo is a safe haven for girls to support and stoke in many sports dominated by men. It’s always cool to get connected with other girls since there aren’t that many in action sports as a whole. Only riding around guys has helped me become a better snowboarder but lacks the fun aspect that I get when I ride with girls.
What drives you to do your sport?
Honestly, before it used to be winning competitions. I wanted to be the best because everyone around me thought I was going to be. However, as I progressed I realized my motivation was taking the fun out of something I loved. I decided to just compete for fun and learn tricks that I wanted to learn not just tricks that will get me points. My drive is the joy I get when I’m not stressed about being the best.
