It is not just a clothing company, it’s a sisterhood. It’s a place to get unreal support from other amazing women for not only your sports, but also for anything else you may be facing in life. I also love the variety of sports that SheShreds.co supports!
How did you get hooked on your favorite action sport(s)?
6 years ago my fiancé took me to one of my favorite summer spots on a snowmobile. I really did enjoy it but I remember telling him “I will never own my own snowmobile”. After a winter of him getting me to ride around on his, each time a bit more, I became hooked on snowmobiling.
What challenges do you face being a female in the sport?
As a female into motorsports you hear a lot of “You ride good for a girl” and “It’s easier to get support if you’re a female”. I’d say the only advantage of being a female out there is that girls are way more supportive of each other than the men are.
Where is the most unusual or exciting place you have done your sport?
I absolutely love the places my machines and own two feet take me that it’s hard to pick just one exciting place.
What has been your most memorable moment so far?
Last summer my friends and I quaded, hiked and did a glacier crossing into a magical new place full of lakes and glaciers that I never thought I’d actually get to see! Then this winter I as able to take my snowmobile into the same magical place!
Who/what are your inspirations
I look up to lots of women out there tearing it up on their machines. I have to say Ashley Chaffin, Kayli Dentman and Megan Render are my top 3 for women snowmobilers.
