Tigé My Wake Global Challenge - Shred It, Edit, & Win It

by Virginia Buechel on May 28, 2015

In the age of social media and first person compact cameras, any shredder can make themselves into an online sensation with sweet video and picture edits. But the real challenge is getting the right angle, the right trick, the right lighting, and of course the right music to jam to. After all that work mastering your selfie stick abilities and GoPro skills, you may end up feeling like you are the only one who will ever watch your videos online — always hoping to get noticed.

Well now it is your time!

This year, SheShreds has partnered up as a sponsor with Tigé Boats and their My Wake Global Challenge -- wake sports biggest contest for wakeboarding, wakesurfing and wakeskating -- to give shredders a chance to become more than just an online sensation with some sweet riding videos. Participants of the challenge have the ability to submit various types of board sport videos to the challenge to compete for cash prizes throughout the summer.

There’s over $100K in cash and prizes, including some rad SheShreds prize packs for the women winners in all divisions. There are several ways of winning and different contest types, so let’s break them down so you know what to expect and how you can get involved in this awesome competition.

Three Different Board Sport Categories

With the competition season starting off with a wakesurf contest (June 1-10 submissions), there are several different ways to shred it and edit this year for a chance to win some of that cash money and sweet prizes from sponsors. After the contest submission dates are closed, be sure to head back to the contest page and be sure to vote for the video during the exposure dates.
