What does SheShredsCo mean to you?
SheshredaCo means to me a community of hardworking, passionate, very dedicated girls and women brought together to push one another in their sports. It’s a very supportive community that links bad ass girls and helps them grow mentally and physically in their discipline. I love representing this company and everything it stands for and want to grow within this company that is going so far.
How did you get hooked on your favorite action sport(s)?
I have always loved snowboarding but I became hooked when I lived in Little Cottonwood Canyon, UT and lived with very passionate skiers and snowboarders and knew instantly I wanted that lifestyle and haven’t looked back since.
What challenges do you face being a female in the sport?
Currently I am facing the challenge of being a competitive woman snowboarder in big mountain because I feel we are treated differently then the other categories. It is harder for us to rank up because they are choosing to let so few of us in our competition. They will allow 40 male skiers, 30 female and male snowboarders but only 7 women snowboarders and I’m constantly getting waitlisted because of this and it has been a struggle.
Where is the most unusual or exciting place you have done your sport?
The most unusual spot I have a done my sport is on Sapporo Goverment park for an urban photo shoot. The most exciting or most rewarding would be anytime in japan but one time in paticular was the best powder day of my life. It had been snowing for about 7 days straight closing a lot of lifts and the night before was extra brutal with a strong storm. We woke up to blue bird skies and what seemed to be over 7 feet of fresh snow waiting for us. The snow was so cold it glittered and we were able to find fresh tracks until last chair.
What has been your most memorable moment so far?
My most memorable moment so far was my competition at Beartooth Basin, MT. I met the love of my life at this competition and am going to spend the rest of my life with him.
Who/what are your inspirations
My inspirations are every kick ass girl I see pushing the sport more and more and pushing the boundaries. I get so inspired by all the girls in the SheShreds crew everyday. They all seem so fearless and are so dedicated and it’s so inspiring.
Favorite thing about SheShreds products?
my favorite thing about SheShreds products is the willingness to be open to all the girls ideas about the products!! There is normally a poll that asks what we want and I feel like we are truly listened to. For example, camo hoodie!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️😍😍😍😍
