Your Age: 27

Your Location: Snowbasin, Powder Mountain or Brighton, Utah.

Weapon(s) of choice: Snowboard, boulering, yoga, mountain biking and hiking.

What is the best and worst thing about being female in your sport? The worst is people thinking you can't hang. Best thing is riding with your friends who push you to step out of your comfort zone and be bigger and better.

Let’s hear your thoughts on how important looking good is to feeling good. “Being” your personal best? I truly believe that eating clean and using food for energy & stamina. When you feel your best is when you can really push yourself and focus on what you want to achieve. It's important to get out every day so your body can keep up with your mind.

How dangerous do you really think it is compared to what people do in their regular activities? The park is not very forgiving. I always have bumps and bruises all over. But when you land that one thing that has been giving you trouble the danger is totally worth it!

What usually gets people hooked on your activity/sport? The winters are really long here in Utah which makes for plenty of time to get out and test it out. The air is cleaner, you are working out and testing your abilities. Seeing what you are capable of learning or watching how awesome some people are is inspiring to keep coming back. The visual appeal is great, also. The winter wonderland is beautiful to witness with your own eyes.

What gets you pumped up for the day? A storm that rolls in the night before. I generally sleep in, but nothing is better than making your own line in the fresh powder!

What are three things you could not live without? Family & friends, the mountains, and my pup Nilla. What are your expectations for this activity/sport? Have fun first and formost! Always aim to reach progression!

Who have been your biggest supporters in getting you to where you are now?  My family, even though they think I have a death wish. They support and love me through all my adventures.

Who is your favorite rider/shooter? I look up to Christy Prior. That girl is a BOSS.

What do you do in your spare time when you’re not riding/shooting/competing?  I have a little local jewelry business, so I am creating on the workbench. Yoga and climbing help me train to be better at snowboarding. I am always up for anything fun!

How about in the off season to stay in shape? I'm outside as much as possible. Vacations for me are not for relaxing as much as exploring new terrain. I love hiking, camping and climbing.

What is your biggest goal to accomplish this/next season? To stay as healthy and fit as possible. Dare to take things to the next level and always move forward.

What’s your favorite “way” to ride( wake sport- specific, cable, boat, winch)(Snowsport specific- park, freeride/backcountry, urban)?  Backcountry is my all time favorite. Park and urban are an adrenaline rush and really fun as well.

Where would be your biggest dream place to ride and why? Japan and Alaska because they have so much untouched backcountry. Sounds super dreamy!

What turned you on to your sport? My older sister loved it and I always thought everything she did was the coolest. She inspired me to get up and try and I have never looked back.

Any new tricks you’re working on? I am currently working on front side flips to 180 out. & 540's, 720's.

If extreme/action sports didn’t exist, what would you be doing with all the free time you’d have? That would be a struggle. My life revolves around this sport, so I have no idea.

What’s the trick to riding features and not killing yourself? Ask for advice from experienced riders.Work your way up and don't get discouraged if you don't land it every time. Stay focused, present and in control of your movements as much as you can. Breathe, and slow it down in your mind while going fast.

How would you describe your riding style? Always willing to throw down! Some days are awesome where I land almost everything. Some days are very humbling.

What would you say is your signature trick? I have always loved back 180's. They feel so awesome to do.

Favorite drink of choice to refresh yourself after a long day of riding/shooting? Either water or kombucha!

What do you want to be when you grow up? A dreamer.
