What’s an average day for you like? During the week I wake up, go to school, do my homework and spend some time on my trampoline every day, all while dreaming of Thursday when I head North to shred!

What is the most difficult part of your activity/sports for a beginner? The easiest? When you are starting to snowboard, the easiest is getting on the chairlift, much easier then on skis. The most difficult part is learning how to ride switch. Keep practicing, it is how you get better. A great trick is to ride an entire trail switch until you have it mastered.

What is the best and worst thing about being female in your sport? I don't like when people doubt me. Girls are JUST as good at shredding as boys!  Girl Power!

What would you like to see change in your sport to make it better for you and other female athletes? I would like to see at the highest levels of ALL sports that the scholarships for girls and the prizes for women's sports and teams be equal, and that the crowds support us just as much as the boys - 'cause we're AWESOME!

Besides your ability and style factor as an athlete, how would you describe your personal style?  Everyone always tells me I am spunky and sparkly. I think because I am pretty small. But everyone knows that the best things come in small packages!  I would say my personal style is sassy and fun...and don't forget fierce!  And I love hot pink! LOL!

Let’s hear your thoughts on how important looking good is to feeling good. “Being” your personal best? I think any girl who believes in herself looks great. I think it's important that we don't only pay attention to girls who look a certain way or who are "perfect".  We're ALL GREAT. But, I like to look awesome when I am on the slopes. I think it's because when I started out I was really, really little. So my mom used to dress me in the coolest bright colors so she could spot me on the slopes. I was doing double blacks by the time I was six. I can ski and snowboard better than both my parents (sorry Mom and Dad).  So that was the beginning. I like to be colorful and look fierce and cool. Sparkle!

What usually gets people hooked on your activity/sport?  You fall in love with the sport and it becomes a passion. Once you start doing it, you just can't stop! You like being on top of a mountain as the sun hits it and the air is cold and the wind is blowing. I love going FAST!

What is your favorite trick?  A suitcase.

What gets you pumped up for the day? Spending the day shredding with my friends and coaches. I like competition. Did I tell you that I'm super competitive?  I am!  But I also know it's important to play fair and to be a team player. Still I like to be the BEST!

What are three things you could not live without? My mountain, my family and my best friends.

What are your expectations for this activity/sport? 2022 Olympics!

Who have been your biggest supporters in getting you to where you are now? My coaches and my mom and dad.

Who’s your favorite rider/shooter (photo/video)? Lindsey Jacobellis, Amy Purdy, Chloe Kim, Evan Strong, so hard to pick!

How about in the off season to stay in shape? Lacrosse, track and cross country.

What is your biggest goal to accomplish this/next season? Do a 540

What do you do to prep for a competition? I stretch and think about what way I want to go down. If you can see it in your mind, you can do it. It's important not to doubt yourself.

Favorite conditions? The powder with a crusty layer!

Where would be your biggest dream place to ride and why? Sochi because the mountains are super big.

Any new tricks you’re working on? Yes, mistys on my trampoline.

What’s the coolest thing you’ve ever done in your sport? Going to Colorado for USASA Nationals! It was an amazing experience to travel for my sport, compete with athletes from all over, and experience the excitement and energy of the competition with my teammates, my coaches and my family. I also loved meeting girls from all over the country and making new friends.

If extreme/action sports didn’t exist, what would you be doing with all the free time you’d have? Hanging out with my friends.

What’s your favorite board/bike/sled to ride and why? Donek because it's a nice, fast and lightweight board, and NeverSummer because it's great for all mountain, park and powder.

What’s the trick to riding features and not killing yourself ?  Practice. Making progress, not perfection. In competition you are really battling against yourself. You want to do your personal best. Don't worry about anyone else. If you do that, you WILL succeed.

How would you describe your riding style?  All mountain and racing.

What would you say is your signature trick? Double Tail.

Favorite drink of choice to refresh yourself after a long day of riding/shooting? Hot Chocolate! (Gotta have marshmallows AND whipped cream!)

What do you want to be when you grow up? An Olympian.
