What is the most difficult part of your activity/sports for a beginner? The most difficult part of wakeboarding as a beginner is to get up on your board.
What is the best and worst thing about being female in your sport? The wakeboard scene is dominated by men, positive thing about that is that people don’t expect girls to do sick tricks as well. Difficult part is that you want to compare yourself with the guys.
What would you like to see change in your sport to make it better for you and other female athletes? The more female athletes, the better!
What usually gets people hooked on your activity/sport? The sensational feeling you get every time you land a new trick.
I bet in your experience you have seen some crazy crashes. Describe one. Wakeboard crashes always look spectacular! The craziest crash I saw was when my boyfriend did a backroll and sprained his ankle. Result…he is walking on crutches and I have to take care of him.
How about in the off season to stay in shape? When the wakeboard season is over I start snowboarding. Besides shredding I play field hockey 3 times a week.
What’s your favorite “way” to ride? I love to ride cableparks with a lot of different obstacles.
Favorite conditions? Flat water looking like a mirror
What is your favorite cablepark? Fagersta cablepark in Sweden is an awesome place to shred! Awesome people and you have a really nice view while you are standing on your board.
