What’s an average day for you like? I work a full time job so I'm pretty busy most of the day. When I'm off of work I enjoy going to the skate park and working on a couple of tricks/ runs with my friends. If its a super nice day I will take my dog Honey for a run on the trail while I wear my skates. I also lately have been doing children, maternity, and baptismal photo shoots.

What is the most difficult part of your activity/sports for a beginner? The easiest? The most difficult part is telling yourself "" it's okay"" after not landing a trick. The biggest obstacle skating is usually yourself. It's frustrating when you don't land a trick and you see someone else do it. Roller skating is not easy and does take a lot of practice, time and effort. You must believe in yourself and always say "" I can do this"" even if you don't land the trick the first few times. Keep trying and never give up. The easiest part is that you can pretty much roller skate ANYWHERE, all you have to do is put on your skates and go!

What is the best and worst thing about being female in your sport? The best part about being a female roller skater is seeing the way little girls look up to me. Showing them that women can be at the skatepark doing cool tricks! Being at the skatepark a lot of the male skate boarders do not show the females respect at the skate park and I believe that is the worst part. It is amazing how much the males attitudes change once I started doing rails slides, grinds, and doing kartwhwels into the bowls and half pipe.

What would you like to see change in your sport to make it better for you and other female athletes? I would love to see Roller Skating become a bigger sport world wide! Not enough people understand the free feeling of putting on your skates and just rolling to your destination. On wheels you can go anywhere.

Besides your ability and style factor as an athlete, how would you describe your personal style? I'm a free bird that is also a little bit crazy. I usually don't have a certain style because my style changes daily with the way I'm feeling.

What are your favorite brands/designers for your sports apparel and for stepping out? Well of course SheShreds would be my favorite! I love being apart of such a supportive and wonderful brand. My favorite Roller skating brand would have to be Moxi. Moxi is so pretty and bright and makes me feel beautiful in my Lolly pool blue skates. Moxi Roller Skates is one of the leading brands and has never let me down. I love their trick wheels and smoke wheels, they are perfect for the type of skating I do.

Let’s hear your thoughts on how important looking good is to feeling good. “Being” your personal best? It is extremely important for you to feel good about yourself, when you feel good you look good! You can always look good but not feel good. it's much more to feel good, because when you feel good you understand the importance of keeping up with yourself which helps you take care of yourself to look good.

How dangerous do you really think your sport is compared to what people do in their regular activities? Most will say roller skating is not dangerous which I will disagree. i think it is more dangerous than skate boarding, because with a skateboard you can jump off and bail but when you're roller skating you have these two skates attached to your feet so you have to figure out the safetest way to fall without hurting yourself. Almost all roller skaters I know wear helmets and knee pads.

I bet in your experience you have seen some crazy crashes. Describe one. I didn't see this but my Best Friend Danica broke her tooth in half while roller skating on a halfpipe. She went through about 6 months with a fake tooth. The day she fell and broke her tooth she sent me a picture, I replied " you're my idol, you make me want to roller skate" and after that day I started skating. I've been skating for roughly 6 months thanks to her.

What usually gets people hooked on your activity/sport? When they see others doing it. Roller skating is super fun and almost anyone can do it you just have to give it a shot!

What is your favorite trick? My favorite trick would have to be the Dita Drop(death drop). Dita from The Moxi Skate team started doing 180 jumps/360 jumps into the halfpipe and named the trick herself. I love seeing her jump into a bowl or halfpipe. It is a thrill that I can't get over. I can't wait until I can 360 jump into a halfpipe.

What gets you pumped up for the day? Knowing its a new day will forever have me pumped. I had a rough childhood and now that I'm an adult it is an amazing feeling to do what I want to and accomplish new things everyday.

What are three things you could not live without? My fiancé Thomas, my golden doodle Honey and my roller skates.

What are your expectations for this activity/sport? I expect roller skating to continue to grow.

Who have been your biggest supporters in getting you to where you are now? My biggest supporters would be my Fiancé Thomas, all of the skater girls ( Danica, Britny, Jeneva, Caitlyn, Lissa) the Moxi skate team is always super nice and willing to help with improving skills. Seeing the Moxi girls ( Estro, Dita, Indy, Pigeon, Millie) skate is a big inspiration for me everyday! I also love the nonstop support from my friends and family who turely make me feel talented.

Who’s your favorite rider/shooter (photo/video)? I couldn't possibly just pick one! It would have to be the Moxi Skate team as a whole.

What do you do in your spare time when you’re not riding/shooting/competing? I play with my dog, do yoga or draw. I recently started doing yoga to work on my handstands. I love to draw. I was recently asked to draw a couple of tattoo designs for my friends which is an honor for me.

How about in the off season to stay in shape? Yoga!

What is your biggest goal to accomplish this/next season? I would love to be able to 360 jump(ditadrop) into a bowl/ halfpipe.

What’s your favorite “way” to ride? At a Skate park.

Favorite conditions? Sunny with a little breeze to cool me down.

Where would be your biggest dream place to ride and why? I want to visit as many skate parks as possible.i would love to take a trip and visit as many skate parks as I possibly could. Then I could truly find a skatepark that fufulls all my skating needs.

What song(s) do you listen to while riding that puts you in the zone? The xx.

What turned you on to your sport? My friends Danica and Tessa.

Any new tricks you’re working on?  I've been working on half cab/ back side slides recently.

What would you say is your signature trick? My signature trick would have to be adding a kart wheel to the middle of my run.

Favorite drink of choice to refresh yourself after a long day of riding/shooting? Water.

What do you want to be when you "grow up"? Successful - Happy
